Here is one area many Christians are confused about: Whether Before The Law Or After The Law, Tithing Was Never The First Fruits Offering
The first fruits offering was when the Israelites brought a portion of the fruits that ripened first as an offering. These were looked on as a pledge of the coming harvest, which would then be tithed. The first fruits offering was NEVER the tithe.

It is true that firstfruits and tithing were not the same. Nehemiah 10:37-38 clearly shows they are not.
Since God said His tithe was to be agricultural, (Lev. 27:30-33) and was only required of the children of Israel in the Promised Land, Deut. 12:1,10-11; Psa. 147:19-20) why do preachers insist that God requires monetary tithes of people around the world? I find no Scriptural support for a monetary tithe requirement doctrine.
