It is time for the church to humble itself and call upon the name of the Lord.

2 Chronicles 7:14If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
How can we influence the world and bring people to Christ when we do the very things they do, dress like them and act like them? Pastors keep calling for revival, but it seems they never call the church to humble themselves.

Here is a stickler for me - the Bible never says anything good about wearing make-up, ("renting the face with paint , ' as it is called), yet most" Christian" groups seem to accept it openly and never teach what the Bible clearly says about it. 100 years ago, preachers cried out against this graffiti on the temple of God.

At the turn of the twentieth century, makeup was viewed as something only proud, even arrogant women wore. With the invention of movies and television, Hollywood injected into the limelight the image of a movie starlet’s face covered with cosmetics. Once this image was accepted by the masses, cosmetics became common place. The culture has changed, but the Bible has not.

1 Timothy 2:9-10 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;  But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.

Vanity—the desire to look more beautiful—is what causes women to paint their faces, and is perhaps the most powerful of human drives.

The Pull of Vanity
Psalm 39:5-6 states, “…verily [truly] every man at his best state is altogether VANITY…Surely every man walks in a VAIN SHOW [an image].” Vanity is a powerful force in all human beings, and it is far stronger than most understand. Each person must have a healthy respect for the pull of vanity at work within him. Be honest with yourself, and admit that this tendency is within you. We will examine it more closely later.

The women who used cosmetics in ancient Sparta were specifically known for being prostitutes: “Women wore brightly colored dresses…They used a lot of cosmetics…which…a woman could do only if she earned her living through prostitution.” (Magna Grecia—An Overview, Prof. Gino Gullace).

The first women to wear makeup were prostitutes! Changing one’s appearance by facial paint is a custom ancient PROSTITUTES have dictated to the modern age. Cosmetics were nothing more than a device used by harlots to, in effect, teach men to break the Seventh Commandment. This is the message of history—yet the whole world lies in ignorance of these facts!

Isaiah 1:4describes Isreal as "Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the Lord, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward." Does this not now describe not only America, but even many of those churches that call themselves "Christian?"

It is time for the Christians in this country to humble themselves. Wash their faces, dress in modesty, turn off the television filth that fills our homes, and forsake the riches of Babylon for the goodness of God.

Remember: “There is a way which seems right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death” (Prov. 14:1216:25). This warning is for all who have “ears to hear” (Rev. 3:13).

My Biggest Fear For This Generation Of Youth

When I look at the youth of today, my heart hurts. And it's not for reasons that many of you will suspect. It's not because so many are getting into drugs, immorality, following the wrong crowd and throwing away their life. It's because very few young people today have a powerful voice speaking into their lives, blowing fresh wind from heaven onto their future. My stomach starts to hurt when I think of the creative genius youth of this generation who are turning to alternative things with their talent simply because no one cared enough to speak life and believe in them.

Inside juvenile homes and prisons sits some incredibly talented young people with the wrong product and lack of leadership. Do you have any idea the amount of courage it takes to sell drugs and break rules and push past everything they've been taught to get caught into a horrible legal mess? Think this through! The SAME amount of courage it takes to follow your dreams, break rules, break out of false boundaries and borders everyone has created for you to create the life of your dreams! It's the same- but some people choose the wrong product and end up in prison. If these youth had someone who believed in them and choose a product that was in demand in the marketplace they'd be on the cover of Forbes Magazine.

When I see young people hanging out with the wrong crowd because they are afraid of being lonely and their home is not a safe place to be, I think of all the adults I've coached through the years in our classes who still hang out with negative, impoverished thinking people because they are afraid of being alone and to step out and speak up!

That girl walking the streets at night is chasing survival. Many have been kicked out of their homes, or worse yet, ran away because their home life wasn't safe and the attention of a pimp who claimed he loved her is easier than living alone in a bedroom with parents who really don't care. Many of the kids we see getting into trouble have given up on life because they're sick of hearing their adult parents scream and yell about money, long hours at work and the boss they hate.

Not every child is in trouble and not every young person has turned to drugs, immorality and other big problems. There are the quiet ones who sit in class everyday, getting straight A's, who are cutting their arms and back and belly, because the self hatred is so deep they don't know how to live without pain. Their central nervous system is so overtaxed with the pressure to perform, the expectation of incredible grades, being the star athlete or even the 'mini me' their parents want to created, that the pain of the razor helps to numb out the feelings for just a little while.

What is the difference between a young person who cuts and an adult who drinks into numbness? There is no difference. It's all rooted in pain.
My biggest fear for this generation of youth is that no one will rise up and call them up into their destiny! That the adults of this generation have given in, given up and live in such a weakened state of weariness everyday, that the next generation of adults will be even worse.

I'm looking for youth who are serious about business. This is not an online reform school. It's not a place where someone with a bad mouth attitude and a rebellious spirit will be welcome. But I am looking for the WILD ONES who dream at night of running a multi-million dollar business by the time they are 21!  I am searching for the dreamers, the ones who believe that miracles still happen and they believe in the bigger picture and the silver lining of hope deferred!

And behind the youth that we mentor, we are looking for parents who will STEP UP and chase their dreams too! This is not a class for parents who are hoping to accomplish something through their kids, it's a class for parents who BELIEVE in the dreams of their children and are willing to go the long haul with them.
It will require a firm commitment on the part of both the student and the parent. There will be a release contract to sign that states that you will allow your child to be mentored by us and you will not interfere, or interact in the classroom forum. You will support, cheer them on and believe in their dreams.

If we don't lay aside our own stuff as adults and we aren't willing to get past our own fears, limitations and challenges, the youth that we see right now will be a shadow compared to the trouble that will await us. I believe in a BETTER generation, where Moms and Dads are working with their children and everyone in the family is believing in their dreams. Where challenges are handled TOGETHER and life is something everyone chases, daily, to the best of their ability. I believe in a brighter future and a better way

Gospel Magician & Youth Speaker

Object Lessons With A Magical Twist: Gospel Magic with  Dennis Regling
Are you looking for  something fun, educational, and maybe just a little bit different to add to your
programs for youth, children, and even the adults in your congregation? If so,  then I hope you will take the time to read this letter.

My name is Dennis Regling. I've  spent most of my life studying three things:

1) How to encourage people to come to know Jesus Christ and understand what He did  for us,
2) How to educate people, helping them internalize important messages,
3) How to  entertain people, especially through the use of object lessons and  illusion.

I have been a Christian since the age of 7. For several years after  college, I lived more like the world, than as a Christian. In February 1995, I
fell in love with my Saviour like never before. Since that day, I have  endeavored to right past wrongs, live the Christian life and win others to Jesus.

I have helped churches build youth programs, preached in several prisons  and juvenile detention centers and preached the gospel of Jesus Christ in 28 states.

As a professional speaker, I have presented educational programs at over 1500  public schools, colleges and libraries. As a missionary to America's youth, I preach in  juvenile detention centers, prisons, churches and on the streets.

Today's young  people are hungry for the truth, for direction and for adult role models.
I present gospel magic programs at Vacation Bible Schools, Sunday Schools,  children's fairs, Bible Camps, picnics, and Christian schools. I also do fair ministry, public outreach programs and soul-winning.

I am available for classes to teach your people ways to be more effective reaching youth of all ages. I specialize in customizing my programs to fit the themes and messages you are  trying hardest to deliver.

Why should you consider using Gospel Magic in your next program? Consider  this: people are naturally curious! Magic shows create an entertaining and non-threatening environment that will bring people of all ages and from all walks of life to your program. Many people wouldn't even consider walking across
the street to hear a presentation of the gospel or a message from the Bible. However, many of those same people will drive all the way across town to see a  magic show!

Every time I present a program, folks are sure to hear the gospel in a memorable way.
(And yes, I am always certain that everyone knows they are just interesting tricks and not paranormal or supernatural powers.)

I know that planning and managing ministry programs for young people is an  awesome and extremely challenging responsibility. I consider it a privilege to  be led by God in providing assistance to you through special programs, preaching and in training your people to minister to youth.

I appreciate that you took the time to read this letter and I sincerely hope  that I will have the opportunity to work with you in the future.
Your servant in Christ,
Dennis Regling, saved

Win the Children Announces 2015 Vacation Bible School Theme

Win the Children Announce 2015 Vacation Bible School Theme

The Vacation Bible School Theme for 2015 is Riverboat Rescue, as Dennis Regling and the Possum Woods Puppets travel by steamboat down the Mississloppy River.

Dennis and Karen Regling have announced their theme for VBS in 2015. The all original theme is Riverboat Rescue as the Possum Woods Puppets travel by steamboat and face the Pirates of the Missisloppy River. Sister Karen will share the story of missionary Jim Eliott.

It is never to early to schedule for next year.

Dennis and Karen Regling offer an affordable and exciting alternative to the traditional VBS program. With a minimum of volunteers needed and no expensive kit to buy, the Reglings can help even the smallest church host a community event that will bless not only the children, but the entire family.

Using real preaching, exciting missionary stories and Bible verse memorization, the Reglings get the message of salvation in Jesus Christ to the children. Each evening is filled with games, puppets, prizes, amazing object lessons (some say they look like magic), balloon animals and other fun activities.
Young and old will enjoy the program. At one church last summer, all the adults sat way in the back of the church Monday evening. By Wednesday, they were all sitting right behind the children, participating in the games and songs.

Matthew 18:3 "Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven."

The Reglings can also adjust their program to fit your theme or for shorter or longer programs.

Over the years, God has used the Reglings to bring many children, teens and adults to a saving faith in Jesus Christ. New families have been added to churches, children's ministry programs have grown, church members have volunteered to become involved in various ministries in the church and some churches have even experienced revival.

A week or even an evening with the Reglings is more than just fun. Every service honors God and lifts Jesus up, challenging the believer and sharing God's love with the lost.

What is the cost?
The Reglings put no price on the Gospel. They are happy to help any church of any size. You have no budget for an evangelist? Then you need to call Dennis today. 1-800-858-5402

Has the Fundamentalist Movement Lost the Battle Against CCM?

The following is from the Preface to the Third Printing of Confronting Contemporary Christian Music by H.T. Spence of Foundations Bible College:

“The mutation of CCM (contemporary Christian music) is widening with such force and velocity that its aggressive intimidation for acceptance has pressed itself within the sacred precincts of Fundamental churches. This has happened to such a degree that my dear father believes the ‘war against CCM has basically been lost in Fundamentalism.’ Unless the preachers (pastors) stand up and clean out the contemporary songs from both choir and congregation, all will be over for the spiritual soundness of our churches. Once the contemporary taste is in the heart, the return to a more excellent way will never be desired. Has the Fundamentalist movement lost the battle against CCM?”
